Meditation Field Trip
We have planned a group visit to the Nameless Sangha, a mindfulness community that gathers in the garden at the Katie Wheeler Memorial Library in Irvine. Practicing in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh, the Nameless Sangha offers a welcoming, peaceful space to cultivate mindfulness, compassion, and community. Children’s Religious Exploration
Our Religious Education Program for children and youth, is facilitated by Danielle Lewis, our Director of Religious Education, and a team of dedicated classroom leaders. Our Religious Education Program for children and youth takes place in our classrooms and Nursery. Children and adults begin worship together in the Sanctuary at 10:30am. Art Exhibit Closing Reception
You’re cordially invited to an informal reception celebrating the artistic talents of Elizabeth Kilchoer immediately after the church service on Sunday, March 22 in the admin/RE lobby where Elizabeth’s beautiful paintings are on display. Anti Racism Reading Group
Educating ourselves about the history and impact of racism in our country and in our lives is a step toward justice-making. Leadership of the discussion is shared among members. In February 2026, the Anti-Racism Reading Group began a new book, The Souls of Black Folk, by W.E.B. DuBois. Compelling and written less than forty years after the Civil War, it offers insights into the lived experiences of Black people as they navigated a changing country. New members are welcome. Artists and Makers UUnite is an OCUUC small group established in 2019. During creative sessions held on the fourth Saturday of each month from 10 a to noon in the community room, a group of painters, quilters, sketchers, crafters and other creative types work on individual or group projects.
