Our young wizards will enter a month filled with imagination, creativity, teamwork, and a little bit of magic. The Artists and Makers UUnite are on hiatus for the Summer but will gather again on September 26th. The May meeting has been cancelled. Artists and Makers UUnite is an OCUUC small group established in 2019. During creative sessions held on the fourth Saturday of each month from 10 a to noon in the community room, a group of painters, quilters, sketchers, crafters and other creative types work on individual or group projects.  Participants do not have to be working artists.  All…

Educating ourselves about the history and impact of racism in our country and in our lives is a step toward justice-making. Leadership of the discussion is shared among members. In September 2026, the Anti-Racism Reading Group will begin reading Martin Luther King Jr.’s final book, Where do We Go From Here: Chaos or Community, in which King described what he believed Americans must do to continue building on the successes of the civil rights movement.
