There are many ways the OCUUC community feels called to action, and we call these activities Social Justice. Here are projects we support:
Welcoming Congregation
OCUUC is proud to be a Welcoming Congregation, publicly and intentionally welcoming lesbian, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer people as members, friends, and guests. Welcoming Congregations are formally recognized and accredited by the UUA.
Side With Love
OCUUC is proud to participate in Side with Love activities.
Interfaith
OCUUC is also an active member of the Newport-Mesa-Irvine Interfaith Council and supports the group’s mission “to provide religious, moral and ethical leadership by bring together religious communities for the common good.”
We are a liberal church in Orange County.
