Our Adult Education program offers opportunities to grow spiritually, deepen understanding, and connect in community. Classes and discussion groups explore a wide range of topics - from Unitarian Universalist history and theology, to world religions, social justice, personal growth, and spiritual practices. Whether you're new to Unitarian Universalism or have been part of our community for years, Adult Education provides a space to engage in lifelong learning, ask meaningful questions, and build relationships.
Join us as we learn together, challenge assumptions, and discover new ways to live our values in the world.
This Fall 2025, we're excited to offer two Adult Education opportunities
Love at the Center: An Exploration of our Shared Values
In this program, we explore our personal and collective theologies in light of our Shared Values (Pluralism, Interdependence, Justice, Equity, Transformation, and Generosity) with Love at the Center. This course will be led by Rev. Sian, meeting on Zoom on Tuesday evenings, 7pm, in 7 sessions, Sept. 9, 16, 23rd (not on the 30th) and Oct. 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th. Email Rev. Sian (revsian@ocuuc.org) to register, to get the zoom link and readings.
The Historical Jesus
Who was Jesus and what did he have to say? What didn't he say? And why should we care in this modern age? Join Rev. Sian as we explore the historical Jesus for 6 Thursdays, 7pm - 8:30pm, beginning November 6th. To be held on Zoom. Email Rev. Sian (revsian@ocuuc.org) to register, to get the zoom link and readings.
