Hello Friends,
The OCUUC Religious Education Program invites you to join us for our upcoming events for the month of December!
- The 4-6th grades are coming to an end with their classes as this coming Sunday will be the final class for the OWL program this year. We are so proud of the children who have attended this 10 week program to further their education on sexual education, boundaries, and so much more!
The RE Middle school class will start back up at the beginning of the year.
- This coming Sunday 12/7 the elementary class will be joining Linda Spery and Nina Smith as we decorate holiday cards. I am in the process of contacting one of two nursing homes that I would love the RE classes and families to join me as we give out holiday cards and even carol to those in the nursing homes. The date for caroling at the nursing home will be determined by Wednesday of this week.
If you are interested in sharing your talents with the RE classes such as creating a class art project, game ideas, or would like to volunteer in the middle school or elementary classes as an assistant teacher, please see Danielle on how you can help!
December 21 the RE classes will be combining together to have a holiday party filled with games, snacks, prizes, and fellowship!
Please note there will be no Religious Education classes including no nursery on December 28th to allow our RE teachers to enjoy the holidays.
