As we enter the cool fall season, here are some upcoming events in the Religious Education (RE) elementary, OWL (Our Whole Lives) class, and the Nursery!
- The 4-6th grades are continuing their OWL Program as we have heard nothing but good reports from the children and their families! The children are in their 5th week of class as they have some amazing teachers who make the lessons very fun while learning! The next OWL class will continue on November 9th as there will be no RE classes this coming Sunday for our pet blessing/ multigenerational service.
- The church auction will be held on November 8th at 2pm and we are offering free childcare. We will have crafts, games, and some popcorn and a movie!
- Veterinarian Thank you cards November 9th. UU Animal Ministry and the RE classes are teaming up to create Thank You cards for the veterinarians who do so much for our pets and families!
As we will be accompanied by the amazing Maureen as we create beautiful and encouraging ways to give back to veterinarians!
- Park day for the elementary and nursery class will be on November 30th. As we will have lots of outdoor games, plenty of playground activities, and much more!
If you are interested in sharing your talents with the RE classes such as creating a class art project, game ideas, or would like to volunteer in the middle school or elementary classes as an assistant teacher, please see Danielle on how you can help!
