I want to thank you all for supporting Share Ourselves! My husband and I helped pack up Thanksgiving donations that will go out to over 700 families that are experiencing food insecurities this season. It was amazing to see people of all ages supporting our community and seeing the donations from OCUUC going into the bags. While we were at the food bank, it was shared that one out of three families in Orange County are living at or below poverty level. Your generosity is greatly appreciated over the holiday season, and throughout the year. We will continue to bring regular donations of non-perishable items to the food bank.
Our service continues as we go into the Christmas season as we started our Adopt-A-Family outreach on 11/24. Stop by the decorated Christmas tree on the patio on 12/1 and see Judith or I for further details or check out the information on Adopt a Family in the Dec edition of The Reach!
