It’s great to be back after my summer break! I missed you all and am looking forward to the new church year. On Sunday, I preached about Generosity as a Spiritual practice and its role in centering love in our shared work as Unitarian Universalists.
Starting on October 13, I invite you to participate in donating to the Share Ourselves food pantry. By donating to Share Ourselves, our community at OCUUC can help support their critical work of alleviating food insecurity in our local underserved communities. Each Sunday, supplies can be dropped off at the Share Ourselves table in the courtyard. I look forward to seeing you there!
If you would like to assist in doing this work, I will be looking for volunteers to take weekly food donations as well as putting together some groups to work once a month in the food pantry. If you are interested in being part of a team, please feel free to contact me by email anytime, or we can connect after service on Sunday. I would love to have you join me in working with the Share Ourselves organization.
The Share Ourselves Food Pantry is in need of Canned and Non-Perishable Food items. Items must be unexpired and unopened.
