Akbar Hussaini, Executive Director, Newport Mesa Irvine Interfaith Council (NMIIC) will join us and speak on the topic of dehumanization: how it starts with words and ends with genocide. Please join us as he shares anecdotes of dehumanization on a collective scale and on a personal level and inspires us to do what each one of us can do to stop it from going any further. Akbar is from the Islamic Center of Irvine and is the Executive Director of the Newport Mesa Irvine Interfaith Council.
In-person worship has resumed! To ensure safety of those in-person, all people coming onsite must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. This will be on the honor system, so we do not need to see your vaccine card. Children too young to be eligible for the vaccine are still welcome. There are currently no capacity restrictions in place for Daniels Hall.
Masks are always required when indoors. Outdoors, masks and social distancing are encouraged but not required.
