Speaker: Rev. Sian Wiltshire
Every new church year begins with something small: a seed, a hope, an intention, a little bit of water. As we return from summer and gather again in community, we’ll reflect on what we want to nurture in ourselves, in one another, and in the world we are helping to create.
You are invited to bring a small amount of water from a place that has inspired or renewed you—whether from your summer travels, your backyard, the ocean, a favorite hiking trail, or even your own kitchen tap. As we mingle our waters together, they become a symbol of the many experiences and stories we bring into one shared community.
And if you don’t have water to bring, no worries at all! Symbolic water will be available for everyone who would like to participate.
Come as you are, bringing whatever seeds of hope, possibility, or new beginnings you are ready to plant. Together, we’ll add a little water—and see what might grow.
