As the seasons are changing and spring is amongst us, the Religious Education Program has a few new updates.
Be sure to take a peek into the classrooms as we have started re-decorating the elementary and middle school classrooms. As they are still a work in progress we are really enjoying the fun themes and we are excited to see the finished product next week.
The RE program is also starting the Our Whole Lives (OWL). This is a great curriculum as it educates children and adults on how to maintain healthy relationships, sexual education, values-based decisions about sexual health and behavior, and so much more. We are offering this program for our Middle School aged children this coming fall, please feel free to spread the word as we will also be advertising for this program soon.
We will also be providing training for those who are interested in becoming Certified to teach the OWL Program. We hope to start the training within the next month or two to provide plenty of time for our teachers to receive their certifications.
