Can Do Summer

Can Do Summer

We have been having a great time in the RE children’s class this summer as they have been continuing out “Can Do Summer” curriculum. This curriculum has been so much fun as it brings hands-on fun into each week’s lesson! So far, the RE Children have created fairy houses, created group murals, had paper airplane races, as well as had a couple exciting park days.

Don’t worry, you haven’t missed out! There are still a lot more fun and exciting lessons to come such as: Playing on our very own mini golf course, having a relay race, as well as an end of the summer ice cream party. Come join us this coming Sunday!

The RE Youth has been doing amazing as they are continuing their “Coming of Age” curriculum. With this the teens are able to have one on one connections with mentors within our congregation, learn what it is like to be a member of the congregation, the meaning of prayer, as well as the importance of meditation.

As we continue, the youth will be leading a service, complete hours of giving service to our community, meeting with our amazing Rev. and so much more!

It has been truly amazing to see these young adults grow into the amazing people they are even just within the past couple of months. I am more than excited to see the amazing and powerful things our RE Youth as well as our RE Children will do for our world!

If you are feeling led to volunteer in the children or the youth classes, please do not hesitate to reach out to me! I love seeing our generations join together to create a better world together!

Have a blessed month!
