This group is ready to begin a new book for discussion and welcomes new members. Having read several books that have explored racism from a number of points of view, the group is moving in a new direction. My Grandmother’s Hands by Resmaa Menakem explores racialized trauma from the point of view of healing. It uses experiential activities and reflection rather than relying on being “in your head.” The group relies on shared leadership. The first meeting will be Monday, January 13, on Zoom, and meets the second and fourth Mondays of the month (7-8:30 pm). For more information or to sign up, contact Eva G-N or Phyllis D.
