As the seasons begin to change, the Religious Education classes will be Changing up our curriculum as we enter the School year!
Starting Sunday 9/7 we will be starting our “Free to Believe” curriculum in the Elementary class. This curriculum is focused around helping our children understand the seven Unitarian Universalist principals. As this program is designed to nurture the emotional, social, and spiritual life of children.
For our Children in the Religious Education Program ages 4-6th grade, we will be starting our OWL Program. This will be held at OCUUC every Sunday starting September 21st continuing through November 23rd from 10:30am -12:30PM.
The OWL Program is a great program to help our children to learn healthy boundaries, friendships, also learning things about our feelings & attractions, body image, and much more!
This is also going to be a very fun and interactive class as there will always be fun games, yummy snacks, and great time to socialize with friends.
We also invite our younger children from infant- kindergarten to attend the nursery. As we have two very attentive and caring teachers available, the children also have the option to participate in different story times, themed activities, free play, and snack time each Sunday.

The OWL Program will take place in the fall of 2025 as this program will explore not only Sexual Education for children ages 4th - 6th grade but it also helps teach children the importance of healthy boundaries in friendships/ relationships, how to maintain relationships, and so much more.
