We are ready to kick off our exciting new summer religious education program, Circle of Trees for children entering pre-K through 12th grade in the fall.
This is a multigenerational program that nurtures deep connection with trees, nature, and all of earth's living creatures. We'll use trees as an entry point to understand and connect with life on earth, beginning with some lighthearted learning about trees—how they are structured, what they contribute to life on our planet—then moving into appreciation for these providers of life. We'll incorporate movement, story learning, meditation, and taking action. And we'll be doing all of it outdoors at Estancia Park!
This summer will be a wonderful opportunity to reconnect to our church community in a wonderful natural setting.
Programming runs from 10:30-11:30, but drop off as early as 10:15 so caregivers can make it to the service at the nearby church campus. Afterwards participants will be served snack and have time to socialiaze until they are picked up no later than noon.
