RECY (Religious Education for Children and Youth) Weekly 3.3.2012

By Rayna Hamre posted Saturday, March 3, 2012, 10:14 am

Dear OCUUC Parents, Friends and Members-
I want to encourage everyone to stay abreast of OCUUC’s exciting news about the possibility of finding a new church home.  Our hard-working OCUUC Board is working on this and we have found a property that could work very well for us. There will be another Town Hall Meeting after church this Sunday, 3/4, at 12:45 pm. You can also ask the OCUUC Board members for an update.
Please see our Secret Pals updates below. Secret Pals is in full swing right now!
If you see Clover Behrend, please give her a big hug. She and I have caught up the tallies for our RE attendance sheets, and Clover will assist the program by keeping our attendance up-to-date in our Excel files. Thanks so much for sharing your time and talents with RE, Clover!
OCUUC is very pleased to be hosting two sessions of Our Whole Lives (OWL) this spring. OWL is designed to teach our young people about their bodies and to assist them in navigating the messages about sexuality in today’s complex world. This year we are offering OWL for grades 5-6 and for Sr. High students. Spaces are filling up so please get your youth on the list for OWL soon.
Thanks for all you do~~
