Guided by Unitarian Universalist principles, the Ministry seeks to develop the skills of civic engagement that we may educate, organize, and advocate for public policies that:
- uphold the worth and dignity of every person

Election Day: November 6th, 2012
The November election is fast approaching, with a long list of Propositions seeking your vote.
To help you sort out the pros and cons, we have posted UULMs’ November 2012 Propositions Comparison Chart to our website. It provides a handy comparison of the positions of a variety of faith, civil rights, business and labor organizations.
We have also posted the recommendations of our own UULM Action Network Board of Trustees, chaired by President, Rick Marshall. Many thanks to the Board and to the Ballot Measures Team, chaired by Lee Helena Lawrence, for the research, debate, compromise, and good cheer that was brought to the process of developing these recommendations.Unitarian Universalists share values and principles, but may still hold different ideas about the best path to achieve them. We anticipate that there will be some UUs who will come to different conclusions on the November 2012 Propositions. As always, we welcome your input!
Please be sure you and all those in your family are registered to vote! This year, you can even register to vote on-line! Deadline is October 22, 2012.
Thanks and blessings,
Rev. Lindi Ramsden
