Interweave
We strive to connect and nurture all Queer individuals, communities, and groups and their allies.
We are a spiritual community actively working toward ending oppression based on sexual orientation and gender identity, recognizing that we will not be free until all oppression is a thing of the past. We hold an abiding interest in celebrating diversity and improving the well-being of our world, ourselves, and all around us. We support the efforts of Interweave Continental, an affiliate organization of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA), and the Unitarian Universalist (UU) principles guide our work.
We have social and service events that bring together members of the Queer community and their allies across Orange County. We have participated in and raised money for OC AIDS Walk, worked together with OCUUC leadership to organize Worship Services that celebrate National Coming Out Day (10/11) and World AIDS Day (12/1), and we are working diligently to defend our rights by working with the UU Legislative Ministry and Orange County Equality Coalition for Marriage Equality.
