Water Works Campaign Update: Initial Goal Surpassed!

Dear Camp Supporters,

A little more than one year ago, I announced an ambitious goal for the WATER WORKS! capital campaign, and that it would take us approximately 3 years to reach this goal. Now, only 15 months later, we have not only attained but surpassed that original goal. This is due largely to two very generous anonymous matching gifts from District residents, a grant of $100,000, received in June from the UU Congregation at Shelter Rock in Manhasset, New York, and of course, contributions from all of you. I will provide a detailed report on the results of the capital campaign later this summer after all project related bids have been received. For the time being, speaking on behalf of the Camp’s Board of Directors and future campers, I would like to express deep appreciation for the generosity shown by all of you in helping to raise the money needed to save our priceless Camp de Benneville Pines.

You can view the names of those that have contributed to WATER WORKS! by clicking on the link to our WATER WORKS! Honor Roll. Please keep in mind that there may still be some names of recent doners that are not yet on this list.

Camp de Benneville Pines Board of Directors
